The 5th edition of “Parole per la Terra” to open: a weekend to know our planet better with INGV

From Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 January, the 5th edition of “Parole per la Terra” (Words for the Earth) will take place at the national headquarters of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).

This experience is addressed to adults, children and families and will be organized in collaboration with volcanologists, seismologists and environmental experts.

During the event, all participants will discover the most innovative and technological scientific activities implemented by the Institute to protect the Earth.

For the INGV, this is a unique opportunity, not only to promote the work and the latest scientific discoveries of its researchers, but also to explore important topics, including the movements and “breaths” of our planet which fuel earthquakes and volcanos.

These are highly topical issues linked to environmental protection, mitigation and prevention in areas at seismic and volcanic risk to protect our cities and, more in general, the Earth and life.

“Parole per la Terra” is an actual interactive and educational journey in the beauties of geophysics and a collective commitment to protect our ecosystem.

The event is finished.
