Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival: Italian edition 2024
In concomitance with the Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival that will be held in Brussels under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Rome will host the Italian satellite event organized by APRE and FVA New Media Research with the GenB project, ScienzaInsieme, and the SPRING Cluster, with support by Prof. Fabio Fava, Coordinator of the “National Bioeconomy Coordination Board” at the Presidency of Council of Ministries (CNBBSV) and Stefano Bertacchi, Italian Bioeconomy Youth Ambassador, on 12 and 14 March 2024.
The event is addressed to students aged 6 to 25 years and aims to engage them as drivers for change, for a green and sustainable transition. There will be several formats and parallel events that aim to inspire young people about career opportunities in this sector.

From Monday 11 March, throughout the week, several countries of the European Union will host more than 30 satellite events. Many young protagonists of sustainability and bioeconomy will attend the event with the purpose of providing the European Commission with their insights on the next steps to take. Attendance to the European event will be possible either online or in-person at the Thone Hotel City Centre in Brussels starting from 9:00am. Registration here is mandatory.
